Another Choice

The quest and the treasure

In all times and places of this Earth where human species has come into being, we nay trace back the elements of an inner collective reference to a process of quest.

As far as one may prod and sound its memory, there has been the issue of this quest which the individual must undertake.

As if humanity could never have existed – this hybrid physical species, incomplete and imperfect but progressive – without the accompaniment of a subtle reality acting as an inspiration, a model or an ideal in the life of the individual as in that of the group.

But what is this quest about?

A treasure?

An archetype? A supraphysical model?

The Origin?

Or the immanent Perfection?

Transmutation?

The power of life?

The Meaning of existence? Its aim?

The spirit governing all without intervening?

The Source of all wisdom and of all joy?

The Ideal?

Or is it about the true being, one’s true being? Oneself?

The quest of the living King?
