Another Choice

There is now a margin: a possibility of discernment, assessment and offering.

We progressively cease to be the toy of the energies that occupy the space of human existence.

These energies consciously participate in our human atmosphere, whether they are associated to the material terrestrial nature or to the life –force.

They may be benevolent and assist us, aid us, contribute to our efforts.

They can also feed off our impulses and our heavier and darker sentiments, such as hatred or jealousy, anger, greed or envy and, most of all, fear, which gives them the strongest grip.

And if our physical consciousness becomes attracted to sensations of scary horror, for instance, it becomes all the more parasited as if by leeches.

As we all are exposed nowadays to these multiple seats of gross appeal, if not altogether colonized by their surreptitious and sneaky propagation, sucked by the magnetism of their false intensity, we must make the effort to pull out and withdraw – not out of moral disapproval, but out of the need for liberty.

This shift in the very nature of our responses, however minimal at first, in turn has its effects.

It opens a breach, through which the true consciousness may act.

For our response is no longer only reactive: it becomes a living call and immediate reference to another Principle of existence and allows it to intervene in the course of circumstances.

Commensurate with one’s instant offering, this Principle may influence environing responses and open up other issues and other unfoldings.

Within the fabric of this physical reality we all share, a little room may thus be created or cleared for another kind of respiration, another law of manifestation, another becoming.
