Another Choice

The integrality of the change

The presence and silent action of the inner axis – one’s veritable individual centre, the consciousness-force above, of which it is the child, and their plunge into matter through the body-consciousness – has progressively altered and reoriented our circumstances and inspired anew our orientations and commitments. And we begin to grasp the breadth and depth of the task: for living human beings in the physical world of the Earth to become capable of consciously uniting with this other principle of existence, which as yet only a few rare lightning flashes of perception have let us glimpse, it is evident that certain conditions must first be established. Time is needed, and an effective protection to keep away any form of hostility, a milieu is needed of sufficient harmony and the collaboration of a sympathetic and understanding collective environment and, too, a privileged relationship with the rest of the world and its constant progression must be maintained as well.

Moreover, it seems obvious that the whole of humanity must reach a threshold of mutual conciliation which may safeguard it from any cataclysmic defeat.

For the new consciousness, in order to establish itself in the physical world and milieu and in the living body must be able to feed from the high nectar in a terrestrial atmosphere sufficiently peaceful and balanced.

Too intense physical upheavals upon earth would postpone the possibility of union in matter: would it be that everything must begin all over again?

Thus we stand presently before two complementary objectives which require to be served at the same time.

One is the pursuit of the unification of the whole individual being, of all of our movements, of our entire physical nature, through the diffusion and permeation of the presence and the more and more direct action of the consciousness-force.
