Another Choice

The sense of Unity

Whatever may be the genetic rooting this inner being, whom we now perceive as the true self, has this time elected, one of the first necessities that impose themselves in the work of unification is precisely to distance oneself from it, for one now knows that consciousness is not determined by its temporarily belonging to one or another human lineage.

One knows it because this central presence in which one at last finds oneself, which has assumed so many bodies and identities, is free of it all.

And it is possible to find again, within it, as if the essential taste or generic virtue of each race.

For each race represents a unique relational approach to the universe.

Each race has its treasures.

Its exclusivism.

And its demons.

Each has contributed to the evolution of consciousness – and each has compromised the integrity of the earth and, obeying its own imperatives, violated it – betraying the law of Unity.

For, if indeed there is Unity, it must be for all the species and all the creatures: it has to be, it can only be for the entire manifestation.

Evidently.

Out of habit and automatism we all approach the world with our ingrained notions of what is superior or inferior, we assign all values in terms of plus or minus.
