It is said that the gods, who are firmly established in their boundless domain, with their permanent powers and attributes, enjoying their perfection shielded from time, may yet wish to take on a human body, at the risk of losing their privileges, so as to experience the love of the Supreme.

A human being’s devotion and self-giving, when union has been made with this inner being, does meet the divine with an intensity and an immediacy which are possible in no other world.

It is here, in matter and upon this earth, that the divine adventure is to take place.

An injustice, for all those who sacrificed so much in order to build the will of a spiritual climber, who have trained to concentrate on the peak to be conquered, the realization to be gained, the breadth to be tamed, the silence to be acquired and the infinitude to be accessed?

No, each and every discovery has its place.

But there comes a time, for each one, to turn to the true destiny of the earth, of matter and of integral physical evolution.

Then it is that this Presence reveals itself.

And this inner axis stirs, like the arms of the Mother found again, She who knows the goal and hews the path – for all.
